What made you decide to study in Czechia?
I have always wanted to do my master's abroad in a country that is safe for girls. Then I came across the universities of Czechia, and it didn't take me too long to decide that I had to come here because it is listed among the Top 20 safest countries. Many students from all over the world come to study there, and hence, it has rich cultural diversity. These are the reasons that made me choose Czechia.
Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?
Definitely, I would say it has met my expectations. The study programme, my faculty, and the university are just so good, and everyone is so helpful. I would say there is no too much difference since my previous university in India has the same system I have right now here, so I’m familiar with the style of education.
What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in Czechia?
My biggest surprise, I’d say, is cultural difference. There are people from everywhere, so especially in university, you would come across all types of people who speak and eat differently. At the same time, it is so fun because I personally love to explore and learn about different cultures, and I am so glad that I have friends who always tell me about their culture and language.
What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in Czechia?
As a student in Czechia, you have too many offers/discounts everywhere with your student card, so it is very convenient to explore and travel at minimal cost. We get student discounts everywhere, which is something very new to me and very beneficial for us all.
How do you think your time in Czechia has helped your studies and/or your career?
The course I’m pursuing (a Masters in Economics & Management ) is very helpful for me since I have always wanted to do something in management and have taken so many courses. Still, I took the Economics & Management course here in Czechia, which is truly amazing because you learn the managerial sector and economics. I am sure that after I complete my degree, I can land an excellent job in any of the following positions: financial analyst, Project Manager, Data Analyst, and many others.
Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in Czechia?
Studying in Czechia is a great decision because it is so safe, and the education system is unique. Your degree is acceptable all over the world because the education system is based on ICTS. I would highly recommend you come here to study.
