What made you decide to study in Czechia?

I fell in love with Czechia, specifically Prague, as a tourist, but when I found the exact program that I was interested in, it was meant to be!

Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?

I love my university, and my studies are super interesting and fun! The only difference is accessibility—back home, the rules are very clear, and higher education is super accessible for both physical and mental disabilities, but I do have to say that my university is doing its best to accommodate me and other disabled students!

What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in Czechia?

You can study everywhere: in parks, Cafés, libraries, etc. I am in love with the city! Also, travelling by bus or train is so easy and affordable! I come from a tiny country, and we have to fly or sail if we want to travel outside the country, so it’s amazing! And Czechia is so big that you don’t even have to travel outside of it; you have so many different places here to visit!

What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in Czechia?

I love the fall and winter weather and the colour here. It makes studying in a cafe even more fun and relaxing. Also, I love the cold winters!

How do you think your time in Czechia has helped your studies and/or your career?

Apart from learning so much, I think getting to know so many different people from different backgrounds and cultures was amazing and beneficial for my future career!

Do you have any advice for students thinking about studying in Czechia?

DO IT! It’s a beautiful, romantic, rich and international place to spend the next few years of your life!
