What made you decide to study in Czechia?
I decided to come to Czechia after hearing about the outstanding international students. Czechia's reputation for being exceptionally international friendly was pulling me in. Also, the outstanding quality of education sealed the deal. The academic institutions here are top-notch, with a strong focus on research and innovation. That's precisely what I was looking for to fuel my academic ambitions. And let's not forget about Brno, the hidden gem of the student world. It's a dynamic city with a vibrant student community that promises an unforgettable experience. There's always something happening, from cultural events to cosy cafes where you can meet fellow students. In a nutshell, Czechia seemed like the perfect place to chase my dreams, both academically and personally.
Did your studies meet your expectations? How did you find the study programme, instructors, university facilities? Were there any differences from studying in your country?
From the moment I set foot here, my expectations were not just met but surpassed in every way. The study program is a perfect fit for my aspirations. The universities are modern and well-equipped. It’s like having all the tools you need to excel right at your fingertips. The difference between studying here in Czechia and back in my home country is the quality of education. Here is a league of its own, and what's even more astonishing is that it doesn't break the bank. The mix of excellence and affordability makes studying in Czechia a truly remarkable adventure.
What was the biggest surprise with regard to studying or living in Czechia?
One of the most delightful surprises I encountered when I began living in Czechia was just how safe it is here. It's a place where kids take trams and buses independently, and you'll often find me strolling around without a worry in the world, even during the night. The sense of security in Czechia is truly heartwarming and reassuring.
What was your most memorable experience or what did you enjoy most as a student in Czechia?
One of the things that I absolutely enjoy about being a student in Czechia is the constant opportunity to meet people from all corners of the globe. It's like a never-ending international adventure right here in Brno. The rich cultures and backgrounds that I've encountered have broadened my horizons and deepened my appreciation for diversity. What makes this experience even more incredible is the fact that everything in the city of Brno is tailor-made for students. It's like the city comes alive with a vibrant, youthful energy. From cultural events to cosy cafes, there's always something happening, and it's all within arm's reach. The combination of these factors has made my time as a student in Czechia incredibly memorable and truly special.

Living here in Czechia has been a significant turning point in my life, and it's opened doors I never even knew existed. My time in Czechia has fundamentally reshaped the trajectory of my career. The experience I've gained and the skills I've honed here are providing me with numerous opportunities and a broader outlook on life. It's like a stepping stone to a brighter and more globally connected future, and I'm incredibly grateful for the doors it's opening in my studies and career.
