Emmanuel Selase Asamoah, a doctoral graduate in Management and Economics at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, currently works at the University of Professional Studies in Accra, where he became the youngest head of the Department of Business Management. He has participated in many international conferences and published more than thirty articles in international scientific journals.
But Emmanuel grew up in difficult conditions. His mother passed when he was twelve, and his father did not care for his orphaned siblings. Therefore, studies in Ghana were very difficult for him. In order to pay tuition fees, he had to work. Being one of the smartest, he also made extra money by tutoring. In 2006, he received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Ghana in Accra. After completing his first degree, he went abroad to fulfill his dream of becoming a university teacher.
After a master's degree in Economics and Management at the Prague University of Economics and Business, he chose Tomas Bata University in Zlín for his doctoral studies – not only for the attractive field of study but also for the favourable amount of tuition fees. At the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, he quickly became a popular student among other students and employees. He completed his doctorate in 2012 and then decided to return to Ghana, where he is trying to motivate young people to study. Emmanuel Selase Asamoah is a great promoter of studies abroad, and in particular, studies in the Czech Republic. He has already supported more than a hundred high school students who, with his help, have successfully started studying at universities, including his brother.
He also worked as a United Nations consultant for investment opportunities in Ghana. Emmanuel Selase Asamoah is also currently a mentor and a legal representative for disadvantaged children and women.
