On October 26, 2024, nearly 30 alumni gathered in Bangkok for the second Czechia Alumni Meetup in Thailand. This vibrant event gave graduates a unique opportunity to reconnect, share their experiences studying in Czechia at different levels of their studies, and expand their professional networks. “Studying in Czechia was like stepping into a fairytale,” shared one participant, reflecting on the unforgettable memories they made during their studies.
The warm and welcoming meetup, co-organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok, allowed alumni from diverse fields to share stories about their academic journeys, professional paths, and ambitions for the future. The attendees had a chance to find others who shared their connection to Czechia and could appreciate the cultural ties between Thailand and Czechia.
These gatherings are vital to strengthening the Czechia alumni community worldwide, creating connections that will last long after graduation.
