The International Student and Alumni Meetup in Brno is an exciting event dedicated to fostering connections among international students and alumni of Czech universities. This unique gathering will take place on October 31, 2024, and promises an engaging mix of networking opportunities, informative workshops, and vibrant cultural activities.
The event is divided into the afternoon workshops and the evening programme.
AFTERNOON PROGRAMME at Masarykova univerzita (Komenského nám. 2, Brno):

Your life beyond studies: Discover #brnoregion: a dynamic and welcoming region committed to supporting international students and alumni in building their futures here. Learn about the support and opportunities available in Brno, from professional services to exciting projects, and hear from alumni who’ve made Brno their home.
- 16:00 - 17:00 Workshop 3 - Master cutting Reels: Learn the basics of video editing in this beginner-friendly workshop. Perfect for anyone looking to create eye-catching Reels, you'll gain hands-on experience with editing tools, effects, and transitions to make your content stand out. Ideal for aspiring content creators and social media enthusiasts.
- 16:00 - 17:00 Workshop 4 - From Campus to Career: This workshop provides international students in Czechia with essential information about the Work in Czechia portal and finding a job, as well as guidance on starting a business specifically in the South Moravian Region.

The event is intended for international students and graduates of all Czech universities, i.e. students and graduates of bachelor, master and doctoral study programmes, mobility within the Erasmus+ programme, other scholarship programmes (intergovernmental scholarships, CEEPUS, AKTION, etc.) and summer and winter programmes offered by universities. Czech students at universities interested in international environment are also welcome.
